Annual registration fees depend on when you sign up:

• $30 — registered by May 30th
• $50 — registered by September 1st

Registering early saves your family $20 and secures your dancer's spot for the upcoming year. We encourage families to sign up before May 30th whenever possible.

We use a split payment plan billed four times a year — in September, November, January, and March. All rates are based on 32 classes per payment period:

Yes! For families who prefer flexibility, we offer these options:

• 1-Hour Private Lesson — $50
• All-Day Workshop — $150
• Dance Camp Week — $90

These are great for new families who want to try a class before committing, or for current dancers who want extra training time.

We accept two payment methods:

• Venmo — send to @lucky_larson
• Cash — brought directly to class

We do not currently accept checks or credit cards. If you have any questions about payment, please reach out to Miss Natalie before your due date.

Fees are due at your dancer's first class of the payment month. Payment months are September, November, January, and March.

Bringing payment on the first class of each payment month keeps your account current and ensures your dancer can continue without any interruption.

Yes. A late fee of $20 per week is applied for each week past the payment due date.

If you anticipate difficulty making a payment on time, please contact Miss Natalie as soon as possible — we always prefer a conversation over a late fee.

All dancers — from beginners to advanced — are welcome on our performance team. Everyone has a place on stage at Larson School of Irish Dance.

All performance information is posted in the BAND app as dates become available. Please check BAND regularly so you never miss an announcement.

Yes. Dancers must purchase the appropriate school costume before performing. Amazon purchase links are available — just ask Miss Natalie.

Required costume items by dancer type:

New beginners are not expected to purchase a costume right away. Miss Natalie will let you know when the time is right.

Performing is a wonderful way for dancers to share their love of Irish dance, build confidence, and represent our school with pride. It gives dancers a meaningful goal to work toward and an audience to inspire.

Larson School of Irish Dance competes under An Chomhdhail, established in 1970, which is the international governing body for Irish dance worldwide. It is recognized globally as the official representative body for Irish dance and its traditions.

An Chomhdhail:

• Promotes, preserves, and protects the rich tradition of Irish dance
• Sets standards for education, competitions, and teacher certification
• Supports member organizations and teachers around the world
• Provides a pathway to compete at regional, national, and international levels
• Upholds the values of sportsmanship, integrity, and cultural heritage

The USA Irish Dance Alliance (USAIDA) is the competitive division of An Chomhdhail in the United States. It provides high-quality, fair, and authentic competitive opportunities for dancers of all ages and levels.

USAIDA:

• Offers a structured syllabus with clearly defined levels and progressions
• Hosts regional, national, and international championships
• Ensures competitions are adjudicated by qualified, certified adjudicators
• Encourages excellence while celebrating Irish culture and traditions
• Welcomes dancers from studios and organizations across the country

Together, An Chomhdhail and USAIDA are dedicated to preserving the art of Irish dance and inspiring future generations.

Open Platform competitions bring together dancers from different organizations in a fair and welcoming environment. Dancers are placed against others of a similar level, regardless of which organization they belong to.

If you are unsure how your dancer's level translates for a specific Open Platform event, check with Miss Natalie before registering.

Different feiseanna and major competitions use different registration systems. When a competition opens, use the registration website listed by the event organizer. Common platforms include:

• Yafers.org
• GoFeis.net

When a feis or major competition becomes available to enter, Miss Natalie will post all the details in the BAND app, including which registration website to use and step-by-step instructions.

Important: Always double-check your dancer's entries with Miss Natalie before submitting your registration. This ensures your dancer is entered at the correct level and in the right events.
